Sita Coaches is a family company which has long standing links with the Australian coach and bus industry. It was founded in 1959 by George Sita.

The company had very modest beginnings. George Sita started the business with one bus for general charter work. Many years of hard work by George and his family has seen Sita Coaches grow to become one of Australia's largest coach companies.

The Sita group is very much a hands-on family operation with George Sita as Chief Director. Son Dominic Sita is Managing Director and responsible for the day to day management of both the Melbourne Headquarters and the Sydney based depot.

The Sita Group's ongoing investment in Australia's dynamic coach charter industry keeps the company at the forefront, with the latest technologies. Sita Coaches is a company committed to being competitive, providing excellent services and to meeting the ever changing needs of the coach charter industry.

In 2005 Sita Coaches invested $4.6 million on 10 brand new 50 seat Volvo's. These vehicles feature DVD player with pull down LCD television screen, air conditioning, fully seat belted, on board toilet and water dispenser. These vehicles are in our Sydney and Melbourne depots.

Sita Coaches Pty Ltd has the expertise and experience to cater for all coach work required by inbound tour groups, large conference and incentive movements, overland touring, school and educational excursions, sporting tours, special event transport.

Sita Coaches is gaining a reputation for being a special event transport operator having just recently handled transport for the 2005 Avalon Airshow and 13,000 Amway delegates. Having previously worked on the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games and is now proud to be the official transport provider for the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games including Athletes, Officials, Media and VIP's.

Sita Coaches has a fleet of the most modern coaches ranging from mini-coach (up to 21 seater), large coach (48-50 seater), and the double-decker coach (64 seater).

A full-time team of mechanics, auto electricians and cleaners are employed by the Sita Group, to keep all vehicles in the best possible condition. The Melbourne & Sydney depots are staffed seven days a week, to ensure all eventualities can be met.
