Route 404 from Footscray to Moonee Ponds:

Departs from the terminus at Footscray Railway Station in Irving Street and runs via Irving Street, Leeds Street, Hopkins Street, Moore Street, Ballarat Road, Smithfield Road, Epsom Road, Ascot Vale and Mt Alexander Roads to the terminus at the corner of Mt Alexander Road and Puckle Street, Moonee Ponds Junction bus terminus (Bay 1).

Route 404 from Moonee Ponds to Footscray:

Departs from Bay 1 at Moonee Ponds Junction bus terminus at the corner of Mt Alexander Road and Puckle Street, and runs via the reverse of the route described above to Moore Street then via Moore and Irving Streets to the terminus at Footscray Railway Station.

• There is no service on Sundays or Public Holidays, except Melbourne Cup Day which operates to the normal weekday service.
